AI and Data Processors
Last updated 27 October 2026
These are the outside services that handle your data or your content for Cutbite, what each does for us, and what it receives. They act on our instructions to provide the service. This page is part of our Privacy Policy.
1. Who processes what
| Service | What it does for us | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the website and the studio, runs its server code and scheduled jobs, keeps its logs, and runs the machines that process your videos (preparing them, cutting shorts, making playback copies and exports, finding where people are in the frame). | Every request to the site (including your IP address), your videos and files while a machine works on them, and error logs. |
| Supabase | Our database and sign-in. | Your account (email, name, password, handled by its sign-in service, and your second sign-in step), your workspace, and the records of your videos, edits, themes and styles. |
| Cloudflare (R2) | Stores your files. | Your uploaded videos and files, their sound, theme frames, b-roll, exports and other media. Your browser uploads to and downloads from it directly, by signed links that expire (most within an hour or a day; an upload’s within a week). |
| Cloudflare (Turnstile) | Checks that a person, not a bot, is signing up or signing in. | Signals from your browser on the sign-up, sign-in, invitation and password pages, and your IP address. |
| Upstash | Counts requests to stop abuse (rate limits). | IP addresses, a one-way hash of an email address, and account or workspace ids, each kept from about 20 minutes to two days. |
| Resend | Sends our emails: invitations, password resets and “your password was changed”. | Your email address and the message. |
| AssemblyAI | Writes down what is said in your videos (the transcript). | The sound of your video only (no picture), with the file’s tags removed. |
| Anthropic (Claude) | The AI that plans and writes your edits: captions, cuts, zooms, animation and b-roll ideas, the video’s brief, shorts, music briefs, theme reading, styles, and checks. | Your transcript and the words you give it (a video’s name, notes and directions); frames of your theme videos; pictures (found for your b-roll, your own, and frames of clips placed in your edit); logo candidates. |
| Runware (MiniMax) | Makes a picture into a short moving clip for your b-roll. | One picture and a short description of the movement. |
| Google (Gemini) | Makes a picture into a moving clip when you choose the premium engine, or when the usual engine declines one. | One picture and a short description of the movement. Google keeps the request (the picture and the description) for up to 55 days, which is what lets a clip be refined later, and its copy of the finished clip for 48 hours at most. |
| fal.ai (VEED) | Cuts you out of your footage, so graphics can sit behind you. It runs when you ask for the sharp cut-out, and at export whenever a piece sits behind you. | Picture-only stretches of your video (no sound, no file details), through a temporary copy deleted once read; its result is set to expire after an hour. |
| fal.ai (ElevenLabs, Stable Audio) | Makes music and sound effects for your video. | A short text description of the music or sound: one written from your video’s subject and setting, the one you type when you make a sound yourself, or one of the studio’s own. |
| SerpApi (Google Search) | Searches the web for pictures for your b-roll, for logos of brands you mention, and to check how names you mention are spelled. | Search words taken from what is said in your video (a subject, a brand, or a name with a place: never a street address), and your audience’s country and language. |
| Pexels and Pixabay | Stock video and photo libraries for b-roll, when you choose stock. | Search words for the moment in your video. |
| Google Fonts | Fonts for the animations, captions and previews in the studio. | Your IP address and the font names, when your browser loads a font for a preview. |
| Bunny.net | Serves the demo film and the example video and shorts on our front page. | Your IP address, when they load. |
2. Pictures and logos from the web
To find pictures and logos, our servers fetch the images that a web search lists from the websites that host them, identifying themselves as Cutbite. Those websites see our servers, never you. We keep where each picture came from, so you can credit it and check its rights.
3. AI training
We do not train AI models on your content. The AI services above process it to make your edits, under their business terms.
4. Changes
We update this page when we add or change a service that handles your data. Questions: hello@cutbite.ai.
